On the Importance of Exercise While Growing Old

Getting up in the morning with a spring in your step and a smile on your face is easy when one is young. The natural metabolic rate keeps one pepped up and the energy keeps our physical activity at its peak. But what happens when one grows old? This pep dries up and we feel tired most of the time. There is no alignment with the forces of nature and we begin to 'grow old.' 

Exercises help to put you back on the energy map. Start with a small walk up to 10 minutes each morning. Then, you can add some situps and pushups when you begin to feel more energetic. Growing old is all about balancing your energy levels well.
